First, travel to Padang, West Sumatra. From Padang, take the Mentawai Fast Ferry to Maileppet Harbor in South Siberut. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and transfer you to the Beachfront Camp by private speedboat.

Neither the Beachfront Camp nor the Mentawai Tribe can be reached by public transportation.

• Mentawai Tribe can only be reached through transportation arranged by our team, including car, motorcycle, traditional canoe, and a guided walk through the tropical rainforest.All transfers are arranged in advance to ensure a safe, comfortable, and seamless journey.

Yes.
If you are unable to purchase your Mentawai Fast Ferry tickets, we can help book them on your behalf. To arrange the booking, we will need a copy of each guest’s passport. You can reimburse us upon arrival or pay in advance via Wise or bank transfer. We recommend booking ferry tickets as early as possible, especially during public holidays and the surfing season, as seats can sell out quickly.

You are also welcome to join our optional activities, including surfing lessons, surfboard rental, snorkeling trips, fishing by speedboat, and speedboat transfers to nearby surf breaks. These activities are available for an additional charge.

We understand that not everyone wants a challenging trek or an overnight stay in the rainforest. We can customize your itinerary to match your comfort level. Depending on your preferences and the location of the village, we can arrange an easier route with shorter walking distances. If you prefer, you can also visit the Mentawai Tribe as a day experience and return to your accommodation instead of staying overnight in the traditional village. Please let us know your preferences in advance, and we’ll recommend the best option for you.

Beachfront Camp
Wi-Fi is not available. However, we can provide internet access through a mobile phone hotspot, depending on network coverage and availability.

Mentawai Tribe
Mobile phone signal is available in some areas but may be slow, unstable, or completely unavailable, especially in remote rainforest locations and traditional villages. Internet access cannot be guaranteed during the cultural experience.

Beachfront Camp
Yes.
Since the Beachfront Camp is located on a remote island, there is no public electricity supply. Electricity is provided by a diesel generator and is available for approximately 6 hours each day, usually during the evening, depending on operational needs. We recommend charging your phones, cameras, power banks, and other electronic devices while the generator is running.

Mentawai Tribe
Electricity is very limited in the traditional Mentawai village. Most homes use solar panels to provide basic electricity for lighting and charging small electronic devices. We recommend bringing a fully charged power bank if you need to keep your devices charged during your stay.

No.
Credit cards and debit cards are generally not accepted. Please bring enough Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) for your trip. If you prefer not to carry a large amount of cash, you can also make your payment in advance using Wise. We accept transfers directly to our Bank Central Asia (BCA) account. Please contact us before your arrival for our bank account details and payment instructions.

There are no ATMs, banks, or money exchange services near either the Beachfront Camp or the traditional Mentawai village. Please withdraw enough cash before leaving Padang.
