TRANSFER TO BEACH CAMP
After completing your unforgettable Mentawai Tribe Experience, you will return to Maileppet Harbor by following the same route through the rainforest, rivers, and local roads. Upon arrival at Maileppet Harbor, our team will welcome you and prepare your private speedboat transfer to Mentawai Beachfront Camp. The camp is located on a remote island and cannot be reached by public transportation. There are no public boats, taxis, or ferry services available to the property. The only way to access the camp is by a private speedboat arranged in advance by our team.
Private Speedboat Transfer
Your private speedboat transfer will be scheduled according to your Mentawai Fast Ferry arrival time, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free connection to the camp. Transfer Time: Approximately 1.5 hours, depending on sea and weather conditions. Transfer Price: IDR 2,000,000 per trip (one way). The transfer fee is charged per speedboat, not per person. One speedboat can accommodate up to 2 passengers more than two persons additional charge, making it an ideal and cost-effective option for couples, families, or small groups traveling together. If other guests are arriving on the same ferry and heading to the camp, the speedboat transfer may be shared (subject to availability), allowing the transfer cost to be divided among passengers. During the journey, you’ll cruise through the beautiful waters of the Mentawai Islands, passing tropical coastlines, small islands, mangrove forests, and pristine beaches before arriving at our secluded private beach camp.

Mentawai Tribe Experience Camp & Private Beach is located on a remote island with no road access. There are no public boats, taxis, or other public transportation available to reach the camp. All guest transfers must be arranged in advance through our team using a private speedboat. Mobile phone signal is available in some areas but may be slow, unstable, or completely unavailable, especially in remote rainforest locations and traditional villages. Internet access cannot be guaranteed during the cultural experience.
Is electricity available?
Beachfront Camp
Yes.
Since the Beachfront Camp is located on a remote island, there is no public electricity supply. Electricity is provided by a diesel generator and is available for approximately 6 hours each day, usually during the evening, depending on operational needs. We recommend charging your phones, cameras, power banks, and other electronic devices while the generator is running.
Mentawai Tribe
Electricity is very limited in the traditional Mentawai village. Most homes use solar panels to provide basic electricity for lighting and charging small electronic devices. We recommend bringing a fully charged power bank if you need to keep your devices charged during your stay.
Can I pay by credit card?
No.
Credit cards and debit cards are generally not accepted. Please bring enough Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) for your trip.
